World Expo Shanghai 2011.
Indonesian Pavilion stage was alive for the six months duration of the world Expo Shanghai, China 2010.
In March 2010, Bumi Purnati, an organization active in performing art productions in Indonesia and abroad, was offered the opportunity-cum-challenge to manage everything pertaining to the Indonesian Pavilion Stage.
In this event, we hope to help build a collaborative network of artists, hold workshops for Indonesian choreographers and composers and establish scholarships that would help students and midcareer artists to expand their talents.
The Word Expo Shanghai China 2010 would promote trade, tourism, and investment in Indonesia, as well as highlight Indonesia’s place within the global economy and culture.
